And that seems like something Sam would do, too- just keep pushing himself without thinking of (or caring?) what it would do to him. And maybe Dean would have to remind him to ease up, OR unintentionally push him too hard (and Sam not speak up about it) and then Dean feels bad about it. Or John could push him, if he were in the story.
