Prompt up for grabs...

 Hi guys,
I've never, ever done this before so I'm pretty certain to mess this up.  Anyway, I was wondering if anyone might be interested in taking this idea and running with it:

Sam's memories from hell threaten to overwhelm him every moment of every day.  To calm the storm in his head, he comes to rely on either drugs or alcohol (or both).  Dean allows this to continue (for now anyway) because he doesn't know how to help Sam and he can't stand the screaming.  
So, can anyone tell me if I did this whole thing right?  My sincerest apologies if not!!

OH, that's delightful. I'm not a mod but I think you're fine to put up an individual prompt, especially because things have slowed way down in the current comment-fic meme. Somebody will let you know if not.
BUT THAT PROMPT. I have absolutely no space to take any other prompts, but that's a doozy- hell-issues plus addiction. If alcohol he'd be weepy and if drugs he'd be jittery, or at least that's how I'd write it. That's heartbreaking. And the fact that Dean would let him do it because there's literally no other alternative...man oh man. Somebody better take this. Cheers.
