This was such a great prompt and I'm so glad it got filled! I can totally see soulless!sam behaving this way: "Oh come on, you're 30 you can't honestly believe you just 'found' those stashes of money..." and knowing that he had emotions about what he did back then but not being able to tap into them now, just into the rationalisations about what he did and why.
