YES. THANK YOU. Finally found something where someone tells Dean to shut up about his brother failing him and realize that SAM TRIED. And he should be fucking proud that Sam killed Famine, and that Sam only fell off the wagon because a HORSEMAN OF THE APOCALYPSE basically forced him to. THANK YOU CASTIEL FOR VERBALLY BITCHSLAPPING DEAN. He freaking deserved it.
Anyways, moving on from my little rant, I thought this was a great story, and highlighted that Cas may care about the brothers but he doesn't always understand them, and even when he does somewhat get what they're going through he can't really help. And I love the little bit at the end, because I really think it defines who Sam is and I especially love that its Castiel who notices it, not Dean, because I really think that for the vast majority of Season 5 Dean completely lost sight of Sam as a person.
