Summary: Sam wakes after Death puts his soul back into his body and suffers from an excess of dreams, both when he’s asleep and when he’s awake. This was written for the ohsam  H/C Fanfic Challenge from de_nugis ‘s very awesome prompt which you can find here.

Author's Notes:  I, er, got a little carried away and ran over the 2k requirement by a lot. Yikes. I suspect de_nugis  had to have known that I’d go nuts with this prompt, though I don’t know if it exactly turned out like she’d envisioned. Hell, it didn’t even turn out like I envisioned. It just… went. Sorry for the unexpected porn. It just freaking happened and as I don’t usually write porn, well, yeah. Weird. Especially since it all takes place in the context of Sam’s dreams. In case you were wondering, the title is from the Kings of Leon tune “Closer.” I nearly blew up iTunes playing it while writing this. As a final note, there’s a couple of hard lefts in this fic. I don’t know how your dreams go, but that happens to me a lot when I’m dreaming, so, it happens to Sam as well.
