Summary: When the hell hounds drag Dean off, they take a swipe at Sam too. Sam is still the same person underneath the scars, but it's hard to act the same when everything is so different. Season four AU.

Summary: After Sam's meltdown at the end of 'Repo Man', the only thing keeping him grounded is Dean's touch. He literally needs skin-to-skin contact with his brother all the time; anything more than half a minute without it and the hellfire starts to sizzle. 
Note: The prompt says no more than half a minutes for the hell fire to start to sizzle but I made a slight change and making it ten to fifteen minutes. I’ll explain further in the story. Hope it’s ok.

This fic follows closely It Happened Before (when Sam was four) So, reading that first would make more sense.
