Sam gets his soul back after more than a year, but time in hell moves so much faster, and even more so in the cage. He's been there for centuries and he remembers it all. He's been Sam Winchester, hunter, brother of Dean, for 27 years. He's been the punching bag of two furious, self-righteous archangels for so, so much longer. By the time he gets out he knows the cage better than the world of the living.

Please dont be Sheepish. Your story was one of the FEW that I read post sammy gets his memories of hell back that was even plausible. (and ive read a ton) I also love how everything doesnt get resolved at the end, because really? something of that magnitude wouldnt. I just loved it to pieces and if you chose to grace us with more of this verse? I KNOW i wouldnt be the only one thrilled ....

Haha! Thank you so much for the vote of confidence! I felt the same way, that something of this magnitude is not going to be resolved. It's something you just learn to cope and live with. *shrug* Plus, seeing Sam suffer perpetually just revs my engines *Am not a sadistic fck* ;)
