I really want to read this, but it sounds like I would find it quite distressing, so could you possibly tell me: is there a happy ending? I can cope with pretty much anything as long as there's a happy ending (preferably with massive cuddling and some crying, but that's not, you know, mandatory), but if there isn't, I don't think I'd be able to cope with it.

Like I said, really would like to read this, so is it possible for you to tell me?
