Banner results!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the recent contest to select a new banner for OhSam! We really appreciate all of the submissions we received -- it's your creativity and passion that keep communities like this going, and make it what it is. And thank you to everyone who participated in the voting process, as well!

After a week of voting, the results are in! Our new, lovely banner was designed by

semirah. Thank you for the beautiful banner!

OhSam Banner Contest - Time to Vote!

We asked, and you answered! We've received several awesome submissions for a new OhSam banner and now it's time to cast your votes! Take a look at the banner submissions under the cut and vote in the poll by October 8th.

Edit (10/1): Okay, it was one of your friendly mods' first time creating a post with a poll in it, and they screwed it up a bit. So, for anyone who has already voted, please go ahead and vote again on this new and improved (and hopefully formatted correctly) poll. Sorry! *hangs head in shame* (10/2 - Looks like it's working fine now!)

BANNER TIME

As much as we love the LiveJournal banner that

mimblexwimble has created for us here at OhSam (Thank you so much, lovely!), it's time for a little update. BRING OUT YER BANNERS.

Put all your abundant creativity to work and cook up a new banner for our comm! Details:

~Landscape orientation
~980 x 500 pixels, 100 dpi
~Any colors, b&w, graphics, original art, animation, font-art, you name it!
~SFW
~Include “Oh Sam, hurt/comfort, fanworks and recs” somewhere in the image. (Or space for us to add later, if you're not comfortable with fonts.)
~Since we're a hurt/comfort comm, Sam should be in some form of discomfort or being comforted, but please keep the gore to a minimum, out of courtesy for our squeamish members. ;) Believe it or not, there are a few.
~Previously displayed art can be used (as long as it's your own handiwork), but please re-design it to fit our size requirements.

DEADLINE: September 29th, 2017

After which, we'll display the entries anonymously and let the community vote for the one that would work best for our header!
