Here we go! Welcome to the official Celebrating Sam masterpost of prompts, brought to you by OhSam (LJ/tumblr) and spnlittlebro (tumblr)! Thanks for joining us, and we hope you all have a lot of fun this month as we pay tribute to Sam Winchester in this multi-platform fanworks extravaganza!

Timeline:

Saturday, March 25th: Start leaving one-word/one-phrase prompts in the comments of this post (for example: "autumn", "blood loss", "surprise"). Please leave only one prompt per comment to make it easier to keep track of. Anon posting will be enabled for non-LJ users to leave prompts, as well.

Saturday, April 1st: The prompting post will close, and no new prompts can be added.

April: You have the month of April to work on fills. These can be any hurt/comfort, Sam-centric original work (fic, art, graphics, poetry, gif sets, vids, you name it!).

Monday, May 1st to Sunday, May 7th: Another masterpost will go up on OhSam LJ to keep track of the fills, and you can begin posting your work on either LJ or tumblr. If you post a fill on LJ, please comment on the master fills post with a link to your LJ. Tumblr users should tag their creations with #celebratingsam and, if you can, comment with a link to your work on the LJ fills post. Anon commenting will be enabled for this purpose, but if you can’t, feel free to let the mods at @spnlittlebro or @ohsamtumbles know and we’ll make sure your fill gets added to the list.

The details:

• Check the existing prompts here before you post a new one to make sure you're not duplicating a word that's already been prompted.
• Please make sure to indicate which prompt you're filling somewhere in your post/link.
• There won’t be any claims – each prompt is open and can be filled by multiple people. We’re excited to see the variety of things you all come up with!
• No self-insert fics, please.
• Anon posting enabled.
• No spoilers for unaired episodes.
• Play nice – no flaming, no bashing, no fighting. Any comments that break this rule will be deleted.
• Feedback is love!
• No spam. (See above re: deleting.)
• Tag any tumblr posts with #celebratingsam so they can easily be tracked and added to the masterpost.
• If your prompt or your fill is not on the masterlist after a few days, please poke one of the mods in a PM, and we’ll fix that.
