And this Great Blue World of Ours, Chapter 6

Title: And this Great Blue World of Ours (Chapter 6)
Author: [livejournal.com profile] vail_kagami
Beta: [livejournal.com profile] minviendha
Characters (overall): Dean, Castiel, Sam, plus a number of angels and demons
Rating (overall): NC-17
Warnings (overall): violence, torture, drug use, insanity, mentions of rape
Spoilers: Going AU during episode 5.18: Point of No Return. No spoilers for season six.
Words (this chapter): 9,779
Summary: A man wakes up in a ruined wasteland, without memories, without a name, without knowing the strange guy who claims he used to be an angel, or that he once had a little brother. All he knows is that the world is dying, everyone is lying to him and that somehow, somewhere, something went terribly wrong. Because someone said Yes when they should have said No, and someone else paid the price.

Masterpost

Seeing him like this, however, was painful. Almost more so than watching him scream his way through another withdrawal.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH THE ENDING NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I must admit that now that its been brought in, I am far more interested in the adventures of Sam and Cas than I am in Dean and Cas. I loved both parts, and have to admit that I was on the verge of cheering when Meg died (which would have been a little awkward, me sitting in the dining hall right now and all =P) because OH MY GOD FINALLY SHE'S DEAD. And I think that Dean slowly kind of getting his memory back, in dreams and emotional reactions, is really really cool. But at the same time Sam and Cas fighting together and struggling against Lucifer and pretty much all of Hell is far more interesting, and I think that at this point Cas is far more loyal to Sam than he ever was to Dean, profound bond or not. Anyways, this story is TOTALLY AWESOME and I can't wait for more! ^_^

Glad to see Meg in this mix. She's the best villian IMHO.

It's still so sad that Dean doesn't remember anything and sometimes isn't sure he wants to.

That ending left me on edge. I thought for sure this is where Cas is going to kill Sam--still might be.
