Howdy gang!

Okay, so after watching one of the latest ep's of Bones (Signs in the Silence- about a deaf mute girl who got kidnapped as a kid.) I can't get this out of my head and I wish I had the spare time to do this myself but maybe someone else can and make it so much more that what I could pull off.

Sam was taken as a small child, by humans, bad ones, and raised under a different name, abused, turned against the whole world. Although his father gave up, Dean never stopped looking for his brother, after John dies, he forgets about hunting monsters and turns his full attention to finding his brother. Eventually he tracks him down, but Sam is not the kid he remembered, he's angry, he fights, bites, scratches anything that comes near, maybe he's mute etc. (Or maybe he's too compliant, does things Dean says without even blinking, he takes orders scarily fast like he's been trained to just do anything anyone says without question.) Doesn't believe a word Dean says even when he shows him pictures of them as kids (maybe Sam has a very distinct birthmark that is in the kid pic and on him now as a teenager.) But through hard times and Dean saving Sam's life over and over, he sees this stranger might actually be his brother after all.

Okay I'll stop babbling now! If anyone likes this enough to write I would love you forever. Or if anyone knows of a similair type of fic already written!

I would like to take a moment to sincerely apologize to the slash readers and writers out there.  The guidelines for the Summer of Sam Love fic exchange allow het but exclude slash which is totally unfair.  It was also inadvertent; my other moderators would have caught the discrepancy if I'd allowed enough time for them to read the post before it went up.

If you refer to our first fic exchange guidelines they read "Also, we'd like to keep this gen (no slash, het, romance, etc.) and family friendly, so please keep your requests light R and under (no explicit sexual content, minimal graphic violence, minimal harsh language)."  This year's guidelines should have read the same.

I'd like to thank the people out there who called this egregious error to my attention.  I am not, nor have I ever been, homophobic but you wouldn't have guessed that by my post.  Please know that I'm very soory for this huge blunder.  It was caused by poor editing skills and my inability to multi task, not by any planned effort to discriminate against or marginalize the hugely talented slash writers and their readers.

Save me  5/?
Characters: Sam Dean John OC
Pairing: none
Teenchester Sam 15, Dean 19
Rating: M language non-graphic violence

The voice mail from an unknown number had not been a priority for Dean, so it had been there for several hours. The instant Dean heard the familiar voice he stopped and sat down heavily.
"Dean?.... It's Sam. I need some help..... I'm in jail."

Possible trigger- highlight to read non-graphic underage non/con object insertion
