Makes sure the place is safe, checks out the neighbors, accidentially drops a hundred behind the dresser where some sharp-eyed boy will eventually find it, you know, John stuff. He leaves as he came, silently and without a word. Sam comes home and sees John from a distance and has FEELINGS. LOL
