Dean was pacing back and forth when he opened his eyes, talking on the phone. To Bobby? Probably. Was this a hunt? Was there something – do monsters know that they’re monsters? He wondered dizzily, because he’d never known, of course, before they told him, and maybe he wasn’t Sam and he wouldn’t know, Dean would know that kind of thing, he always had.
