Summary: In 1978 Anna failed to erase Sam Winchester from the future, but the past is a very big place. Now eleven year old Sam is in deadly peril.
Disclaimer: Obviously, I own nothing, but am grateful to walk in this astounding world others have created.

Author's Note: This story takes place mostly in 1994, but is bookended by events in 2010, some from “The Song Remains the Same.” A few lines of dialogue from that episode do appear at the very end of the story.

This story is intended to take place within canon, but due to time travel and the complexities related thereto (“wibbly wobbly timey wimey,” as the Doctor would say), unintended AU issues may have arisen without my knowledge. Gracious thanks to those who introduced me to the fandom and the fanfic when I arrived to the party eight years late, including K Hanna Korossy, scullspeare, and my beta for this fic, AJ Wesley. I really enjoyed this little addition to the time-travelling back to save John and Mary, Dean-to-be and unthought-of Sam in 1978. You had to figure that if there was one attempt made at changing history there might be another. Too bad the other angels didn't know you can't really change history when it comes to the Winchesters. They will endure!
