With everything that seems to happen on Sam's birthday (getting killed, Dean's deal coming due, ect.), it's easy to assume it's curse. Cue Dean/Cas/Bobby trying to prove that isn't the case. Bonus points if it goes ridiculously wrong in a funny way rather than the usual angst and bloodshed.
