There was so many struggles for these two in S5, Sam in particular, that the show didn't have a chance to even touch on. Sam's addiction and the Dean's season long lack of trust in Sam are two important ones. THIS is why we have fanfic. To fill in the blanks between episodes and answer the questions that the show never does. This was simple and perfect. Your characterizations, clear and true. Brilliant touch w/ the NA/AA; this is such a Sammy solution and fills in another blank in his short relationship w/ Lindsey (sp?).
