Posting Guidelines

Friendly neighbourhood mod here, with your Posting Guidelines:
1. Put all fics, spoilers, and large images behind a cut. If you don’t know how to use a cut, check this link from the LJ FAQ.
A large image, for the record, is anything over 200 x 200 pixels.
Spoilers are anything from an unaired episode, or content for the most recent episode, up to two weeks after the original air date. Please err on the side of caution, and if in doubt, ask one of the mods and we will be happy to help you out. Season 5 has not aired yet in many countries, so it would be nice if posters take that into account.
2. This community uses a tagging system. Don't forget to tag your posts. Alternately, ping one of the mods, and we can help you out. We encourage self-tagging, though! (Oh, that sounded so wrong.)
3.What your subject line should look like if you're posting a fic:
Your title and part # if applicable, i.e.: 1/?
If your story only has one part, you don't need to include part numbers.
4. A few examples of what your subject line should look like if you're posting fanart, icons, audiofic, or other submissions:
Example #1: Audiofic: [Title Here], PG-13, Sam, Dean
Example #2: Icons: 20 icons from Born Under A Bad Sign
So, put what type of fanwork it is, following that up with your title, rating, characters and/or pairing, (if applicable) as seen in 02.
5. Your header should look something like this:
Title:
Author:
Rating:
Genre/pairing:
Characters:
Word count:
Summary:
Spoilers: (if applicable)
Warnings: (if applicable)
Disclaimer:
Feel free to add any text your heart desires, of course. Author's notes and the like are always a fun bonus.
Here is the header form, treat it nicely, although it's meant as a guideline, not the be-all and end-all. ;)
