Sam's hell trauma returns-- not as incapacitating as it was, but still bad enough to make hunting a near impossibility. Dean just can't move like he used to, slowed by drink and age. They retire and spend a few years leading blissfully boring lives in some unmemorable town, then Sam gets sick. Really sick. The kind of sick that you don't get better from."
