Notes: Very loosely based on kettle_o_fish's prompt "Curtain!fic. Gen or wincest. Sam's hell trauma returns-- not as incapacitating as it was, but still bad enough to make hunting a near impossibility. Dean just can't move like he used to, slowed by drink and age. They retire and spend a few years leading blissfully boring lives in some unmemorable town, then Sam gets sick. Really sick. The kind of sick that you don't get better from."

Thank ya! It really was supposed to end sadly but I just couldn't do that to a holiday fic. (I'm PMSing and it might well have sent me into ugly tears!)
