Thanks for this. I am a dedicated SamGirl but I do so love stories that acknowledge that at least a part of him is selfish and knows how easy it is for him to get Dean to do what he wants.

Yeah I'm the same. Sam obviously loves his brother but I think in the show we have seen him playing on Deans loyalty to him on quite a few occasions! I still love him though despite all his flaws! And I don't think he even does it consciously, it's just one more facet of sam's complicated make up!
