Summary: For the prompt, Sam with a hip-ache. It could be from a hunt or domestic like tripping on the steps or slipping on the wet bathroom floor. Bed ridden Sam, with very doting Dean. Soft sex and massage and kisses.

A really short, cute fic. Hope you enjoy! First time writing Wincest, please don't chop my head off!

Dean was stretched out on his bed, flipping through the different channels on TV, though he was more interested in watching Sam than some boring infomercial. Sam had been pushed down the stairs by a poltergeist two days earlier and bruised his lower back and right hip so badly that Dean took him to the ER to see if anything was broken. Thankfully, nothing was broken, and the doctor prescribed painkillers, ordering Sam to a week of bed rest.

Dean watched out of the corner of his eye as Sam turned his head from one side to the other, folded and unfolded his arms across his chest, and sighed frustratingly.

“What’s wrong, Sammy? You still in pain?”

“Not really…” This, of course, was Sam code for “my hip hurts like hell but I don’t wanna complain.”

“Sam…” Dean used his “don’t lie to me” tone that his father had used on them for years.

Sam let out a long sigh. “I just…I can’t get comfortable.” Sam shifted in bed, wincing slightly at his still sore hip. “It’s fine, though. No big deal,” he added quickly, not wanting to sound whiny.

“Yeah, you sure look fine.” Dean mumbled sarcastically. “I’ve got an idea. Roll over.” Dean went over to Sam’s bed and helped his brother roll over onto his left side. Dean pulled Sam’s t-shirt off and his boxers down, exposing the younger man’s bruised back and hip. He gently ghosted his fingers over his brother’s injured hip. “Let me know when I’m hurting you, okay?” Sam nodded silently. He must’ve really been uncomfortable.

“Okay.” Dean’s grip was firm but gentle as he slowly began rubbing Sam’s injured back. He massaged the lumps hiding under the skin, kneading the flesh carefully. It must’ve worked because Sam visibly relaxed, his shoulders dropping and breathing evening out.

After several minutes of massaging Sam’s back, Dean bent down and began to kiss Sam’s tanned, toned body. He ran his lips up the small of Sam’s back, slowly moving upwards in between his shoulder blades, to the nape of Sam’s neck. He leaned over to kiss Sam’s forehead, and was surprised to find Sam was still awake.

“That feels so good.” Sam mumbled, half asleep. He rolled over so that he was half on his left side, half on his back and kissed Dean on the lips. Dean leaned into the kiss and hummed pleasantly, hands raking through Sam’s long hair. They broke away, though, when Sam gasped in pain as Dean brushed against the younger man’s bruised hip.

“M’sorry.” Dean apologized. “We shouldn’t –”

Sam cut him off. “No, it’s fine. Just…take it slow. It’s still kinda sore.”

“Still, lemme get the heating pad for ya.” Dean quickly grabbed the heating pad from the nightstand and plugged it in. He placed it on Sam’s hip, then propped a bunch of pillows underneath his brother’s back. “Better?”

Sam smiled. “Mmm. Now get your ass into bed.”

“Don’t need to tell me twice,” Dean replied, quickly taking off his shirt and climbing into bed to face his brother. They lay like that for several minutes. Dean caressed Sam’s cheek with one hand, the other entangled in his brother’s hand.

Eventually, Sam rolled over, his brother grabbing him by the waist and pulling him down into warm arms, spooning him from behind. “G’night Dean,” Sam murmured, drifting off to sleep.

“G’night Sammy,” Dean replied.
