Title: How Life Goes

Summary: The real world doesn't know Sam, and Sam doesn't know the real world. AU post 6.14.
Prompt: Curtain!fic in which Dean either keeps being settled down (between Season 5 and 6) or goes back to Lisa and Ben but with Sam in tow and it concentrates on the way Sam fits into this life (or doesn't) and how Lisa and Ben see this brother of Dean they don't really know.
Notes: No resolution, lots of angst, who's predictable. There is also a semi-companion from Lisa's POV with a different approach to the same idea, "Houseguest", on my fic journal. Just as a plug.

Sam didn’t know what Lisa thought when they both turned up on her doorstep. Didn’t really want to know. He assumed Dean had told her he was coming, because at least she didn’t look surprised. Sam’s first reaction was still to want to bolt.
