Fic Challenge Prompting Post!

Okay, from November 2nd to November 8th inclusively, leave your prompts here! Five prompts per participant only. You don't have to participate in the challenge to leave a prompt, although it is encouraged! I will compile a master list under the cut, along with claims. (You don't have to prompt in order to claim, either, for that matter, but again, it is encouraged!)

One prompt per comment, please. Warn for spoilers. Specify relevant pairings (if applicable) and if your prompt is gen, slash, het, other or if you don't mind either way. :)

After November 9th, prompting will be closed, and claiming commences until December 2nd, but you can post your stories at any time until February 2nd. I will compile a list and make the claiming post as early as possible on November 10th.

I'd really like to write this, if you'll have me :) I have a scene on paper for a story much like this, no fnadom or anything at all, just a random scene, and I'd really like this push to create an actual story around it. Let me know if you have any more specific whishes, like POV, time-line, ending (happy or sad? I always tend to lean to the latter, but can totally do a happy ending. Happy-ish maybe?) Anyway, I am longwinded, but it comes down to this: CLAIM! :P

There's such a lack of cancer!Sam stories and I wasn't holding out much hope that anyone would be interested in this wee prompt so I'm thrilled.

I'm a fan of happy endings, but if you want to leave it ambiguous I'm down with that. Happy-ish is fine. I think Dean's POV could be rather heartbreaking ;)

But go wild really, I'll just be happy to see this filled.

Yay, glad you like :) There aren't many cancer!Sam stories, I dunno why though... *wonders* Well, I'll do my best to come up with an amazing story, and I'm really happy to be able to put my scenes to actual use. They're now sitting in my Google Docs being all lonely and useless... #awwww

Yay, I'm glad you're tackling this! I've been eye-balling it but I'd have to do more research than I wanna to get it spot on. And I loves me some cancer!Sam. I think the reason there aren't more fics along this line is cancer has probably hit all of us in some way or another and it's touchy. (My dad died of cancer when he was in his mid-50's, so I know.) But to see the brothers deal with it together, as we know they will, is heartening! So I'm really looking forward to this one. NO PRESSURE. ;)

No pressure huh? ;-) ~Kidding, kidding... I agree, it's probably because we've all had to do with cancer in one way or another (my mom died when she was 45, 9 years ago) and it is difficult for me to read about it. But writing about it is somehow fine, I dunno why/ Maybe *because* I understand it all so well, and *because* I get it, I can be sympathetic and honest about it all. I've had that breakdown from mentholpixie's prompt, I can relate so well.

Anyway, long winded again, I'm happy to write this and I'll be doing everything I can to make it a good story. Winchester bros can even fight cancer together :P

Heh...I'm grabbing a coupla prompts here at OhSam, just not this one. YET. Someday I'll have my own 'verse to plumb...
