Warnings: angst; season five dysfunctionality; suspension of disbelief, hurt!Sam
Summary: After defeating Famine, Sam is detoxing, Dean is breaking, and Cas is hit with the reality stick.
Author's Note: This is a very tiny prologue of what is turning into a rather long fic that is part of a fic universe I'll be writing through wherein a car wreck leaves Sam permanently injured and also, strangely enough, fixes up some of the season 5 angst a bit. However, Castiel's POV really doesn't belong in that 'how it happens' fic, so I am calling it a prologue drabble and posting it on its own. The series itself will be most creatively called carwreck!verse. So, anyway, I think I am done rambling. :) Oh! One more, this takes place directly following My Bloody Valentine in season 5.
