SUMMARY: What seems like a straightforward hunt for an angry spirit, takes a unexpected twist when Sam is attacked, and leaves both brothers puzzling over what's behind the deaths they're investigating. Case-fic, with a healthy dose of H/C, battered Sam and protective Dean. Not a death fic.
