Sam is taken from Amelia's home, and she just thinks he's gotten skittish and ran. (Not that she blames him; she's a mess, right?) The vamps have Sam, but no matter what they do to him, he can't tell them where Dean is. When Dean returns from Purgatory, Sam is nowhere to be found . . . until Benny gets word through the Vampire Underground that Sam is, indeed, somewhere. And not a happy place, either."
