Fic Challenge Prompting Post!

Okay, from November 2nd to November 8th inclusively, leave your prompts here! Five prompts per participant only. You don't have to participate in the challenge to leave a prompt, although it is encouraged! I will compile a master list under the cut, along with claims. (You don't have to prompt in order to claim, either, for that matter, but again, it is encouraged!)

One prompt per comment, please. Warn for spoilers. Specify relevant pairings (if applicable) and if your prompt is gen, slash, het, other or if you don't mind either way. :)

After November 9th, prompting will be closed, and claiming commences until December 2nd, but you can post your stories at any time until February 2nd. I will compile a list and make the claiming post as early as possible on November 10th.

Gen or Sam/Dean, any season. Dean screws up, big time - maybe in a bar after a game of pool, or in a seedy back-alley after a few rounds of poker - and the burly fellows he's keeping company with don't take too kindly to being scammed. So they come up with an idea: if Dean doesn't want to give them their money back, fine, but he still has to pay - or maybe his pretty brother does. Just not with money.

Gen or Sam/Dean, any season. Sam gets kidnapped or picked up - by supernatural beings or humans, up to the author - and tortured in ways that are too horrible to say. And when Dean kills his way in and finally finds Sammy, he's... well, Sammy's not saying anything, or seeing much, either. For one reason or another, he can't speak - but he can make noises. Wounded-sounding noises, to go with some partial (or full) blindness. Whether these are temporary or permanent is up to the author as well.

Sam wakes up after he gets his soul back, he's confused and stiff after laying there for ten days. He notices when walking up the stairs one of his knees or his hip feels worse than the rest of him but he doesn't think about it, he needs to find Dean. As time goes by his leg doesn't get any better and the pain grows worse, finally Dean drags him to the doctor and it turns out Soulless!Sam ignored an injury because it would mean too much downtime between hunts and now Sam has to deal with the consequence of it.

Between season 3 and 4, Ruby/Sam

Remeber when Dean, fresh out of Hell, metioned wanting to watch some movie at the theater and Say said he already saw it? Well, Sam, grieving and self-destructive in the time without Dean, didn't seem much like the kind of person who'd chill out at the movies. So how, exactly, did that happen?

Like this: Ruby wanted to see that movie and she dragged Sam along, because seriously, that boy needed to do something else for one eveing than cuddle his guns and drown in despair and a bottle of wiskey. And after the movie she wants to have dinner, and he Sam to come because alone it's no fun.

And if any of the other demons make stupid comments about her being on an actual date with Sam frigging Winschester - well, it's all part of the plan, right?

Car Crash

Set early in season five when the boys are separated. Sam crashes one of his 'borrowed' cars, badly, he's stranded in the middle of no where and maybe it's a head injury or maybe he's delirious from blood loss but he 'sees' Dean, who either helps to guide Sam out of the car before it explodes or to get help before it's too late, or maybe both.

It's up to the author if the real Dean finds out or if Sam keeps it a secret.

Something doesn't have to be sexual to be intimate and soulmates don't have to be lovers.

Sam and Dean are closer than most lovers could ever be. They complete each other in ways no one else could ever hope to.

Set in Season 7. Someone's observations on the boys and the way they interact and take care of each other. Unstable or just plain Crazy Sam and Caring Dean.

Sam is lost without his brother, but can't bring himself to dishonor Dean's memory by giving in to Ruby's temptations. Desperate and grieving, he prays to be reunited with Dean. His prayers are answered by a messy-haired man in a trenchcoat, who calls himself Castiel and claims to be an Angel of the Lord. Castiel's way of answering Sam's prayer is to transport him to another time, when Dean was alive. Can be past or future, I don't care, just as long as there is time travel and brotherly bonding, and possibly Sam is able to change some of the horrible events they've lived through. Gen or wincest, I'm not picky.

In Swan Song we got to see Azazel's gang. One of them was a teenage girl in a pink dress. In Sam's mind, prom night was one of the few truly great nights Dean had ever managed to give him before Stanford. Dinner, Limo, hotel room. Sam now finds out that the girl that he had the 'best sex ever' with was possessed at the time. Cue Sam believing himself to be a rapist and Dean trying to get him past it.
If he looks up the girl and finds out what happened to her- something bad (writer's choice- death, drug addiction, suicide, warrant for his arrest rape, etc) much love.

Like, around 14. I've had this scene in my head for ages of Dean walking out of the hospital room (not because he's a jerk, he's just having a wee breakdown) while Sam's screaming at him not to leave, but he can't follow because he's so sick and maybe attached to tubes and things for chemo.

Of course, Dean comes to his senses eventually and goes back.

One of the things hallucination!Lucifer (halLucifer?) keeps whispering to Sam is that he'd be stronger, smarter, *better* if he'd just take a sip of demon blood. Just a little, just enough to get his head straight. Maybe he also promises that Sam will stop hallucinating altogether if he gets off the wagon. Dean never has to know. What happens next is up to the author: does Sam give in? Does he tell Dean? How will Dean react if Sam slips and has to go through detox yet again?

Without Dean there to anchor him, Sam starts hallucinating big time and Lucifer taunts Sam about how Dean killed Amy cause she was a monster and that, deep down, Dean must think he's something dirty and evil that should be taken down because he's a monster, too. Dean even said so that time, though he's held back ever since. Sam is totally losing it when Dean catches up with him to say, dammit, we're not separating. Somehow the voicemail is brought up as Dean watches/breaks up the hallucination. There is main pain, angst, snotty Sam tears, one lone Dean tear, hugs and then brotherly, 'we're done hugging like girls now, right' ness going on.

This was a livejournal prompt awhile ago and I could see it making a fun fic! Sam wakes up surrounded by doctors who tell him that he has been in a medical experiment since birth and that his entire life has been a dream. Up to you whether the docs are lying or telling the truth, but confused and scared Sam and Dean somehow showing up to save the day are always a plus.
