Warnings: NON-CON. Very traumatic situations that includes verbal child abuse, graphic mentions of underage and adult rape, as well as a POV from the demon at times -- generally this is gonna be a very dark and very uncomfortableread, so please be warned of that. There's also some consensual sex; basically, there's a lot of sex, period. Basically it follows a lot of Sam's sexual encounters, but not a lot of the good ones, and how it impacted his self-worth and how he views himself. The ending is pretty soft and bittersweet, but there's a lot of bad shit to slosh through to meet that better ending. Stay tuned for it.

Prompt: Inspired by this prompt. Dean never questioned where Sam had gotten this idea that he was impure; he figured it was just the demon blood in his veins, clouding his big dumb head with thoughts. Sammy always did think too much.

Also, as a precursor and to make this actually work, let's say the Trickster is way more inconspicuous in this scenario.

Prompt was I Want something really feel good to make up for the way S8 broke mid-season. Dean was cruel to Sam using Amelia. He knows it. Now it's Xmas, Sam won't speak to him, and Dean realizes just how much it hurt his little brother/past lover to be 'replaced' by Benny and sending him to see Amelia with Don. He wanted to piss Sam off and get him out of the way. Not completely break his heart. God knows everything/everyone else in Sam's life has broken him, now big brother has jumped to the front of the line.

NYE is here. Dean is determined to 'fix' things between them. He tracks Sam down, and through whatever conversation/fight/etc the author wants, ends up in bed with Sammy doing something that either a. Sam REALLY likes or b. Sam has always wanted to try that Dean hasn't been comfortable with. I'm hoping some bondage, since that is completely built on trust, but I'll go with whatever the author decides.

Ok, I loooove this fic. It's got a believable (and, imagine this, likeable) Amelia voice and almost as rare, believable, survivable, medical details!!!! It's also got some great banter and is very in-character season 8 Dean and Sam. I love it from start to finish.

Only problem is, it's very difficult to find when I went looking for it again, wanting to save it down to my computer last night. It wasn't 'til this morning that I thought to check the comment-fic meme 'cause I'd thought I'd read it as a regular post on LJ or FF.net. So, part of my reason for this is rec is just so I can find it again if I ever need to again.

Summary: Written from a prompt by strgazr04 which was Sam ends up unconscious and/or hurt (maybe on a hunt?) and Dean has to take care of him. It's all very traumatic and bloody with Dean near panic and giving his "I'mma patch you up, make you good as new. That's my job right? To look after my pain in the ass little brother?" speech to an unresponsive Sam. Well as Dean is patching Sam up, he discovers the amulet under Sam's layers of shirts. He reflects on that Christmas back in 91 and how he threw out the amulet in DSOTM. I would LOVE if this took place in season 8 and Dean realizes that Sam cares more than he's letting on. (I am still holding out hope that Sam went for 'normal' because losing Dean hurt too much for him to focus on and drove him insane because he failed to save Dean again)
